My friend Alisa has a tulip watch on her blog site, so I thought I'd give you all an update on how my own spring bulbs are doing. My tulips haven't bloomed yet, but they look healthy and I'm excited for when they decide to really show their stuff. I thought my crocus weren't ever going to bloom (and it seemed like all over the place I saw this little flower blooming) so I was really happy when they finally decided to make an appearance even if they do look a little sickly. Unfortunately, I think their sadness has a little to due with a problem our neighbors the Richards once experienced (do you remember the "Pest" Adrianne?) Grrrr. Anyway, it's been
raining here for the past million days and so I thought I'd also include a few pics of my stir crazy guys. We CAN'T WAIT to see the blue skies and sunshine. Spring: we welcome you!!

Your flowers are looking good! Once I finish this third chapter I'll have to update my picture, but I'm worried that I planted too late for California since someone said the other day, "The garden at the Getty still has tulips." And mine hadn't even started to poke through the ground yet.
