Lil' Pumpkin

When Grandma Kath was here this past weekend, she bought this little pumpkin hat for Marcus, thus the title. We also bought him a Halloween costume, but you will just have to wait to see those pictures. As you can see, Marcus is getting bigger and gaining more skills by the day. He is four months old now and his personality is really starting to shine through. He loves to stand up and dance with the help of whoever may be holding him at the time. He loves to blow bubbles (which then pop and dribble down onto his shirt and then on whoever may be holding him). He doesn't last too long on his back either now days. He rolls right over to his tummy where he lifts his head up to see whatever is going on. He is definitely a social guy and he likes to watch EVERYTHING. When we go to moms and tots, he stands on my lap and stares and stares at everyone. It really feels like he wants to jump down and go play with the other kids. He is laughing now and his smiles are even more frequent. Also, for all you young moms I have a book recommendation for you: Heathly Sleep Habits, Happy Child by Marc Weissbluth. My friend Jen recommended it and I just finished reading it and have already put into practice a lot of the tips with fabulous results so check it out! Okay, enough Marcus news, now let's talk about Tim. He's currently interviewing with several accounting firms (big and small) and in the next couple of weeks we will be seeing if he's been asked for an office visit (this is a really good sign that a job offer is next). Thus far, the firms have been doing the interviews at the career center on campus. Tim feels like they've gone well, so we'll just have to wait and see. I'll keep you all posted. Finally, I am doing well. I'm finally getting into a routine and that is nice. I still sometimes miss school (the people), but I am really happy to be a mom and home with Marcus. I am making friends and just toodling about. My mom says I should enjoy this time in my life, so I think I shall. Love to all of you!!
