My mom and Emma came to visit us over Labor Day weekend. We went to the zoo (Marcus slept the whole time), the Boise temple, and one of Boise's burger diners. My mom is holding the famous "potato ice cream." We honestly thought it was a real potato with ice cream on top. Nope, turns out the entire thing is made of ice cream. Boy, did we feel silly. If any of you decide to come for a visit, we'll make sure you sample this famous (and strange) Idaho treat.
