Last night for family night we watched Mr. Krueger's Christmas. I hadn't seen it in years, but I love Jimmy Stewart and it is quite the Mormon classic complete with the MoTab and "awesome" dancing around the Christmas tree on Temple Square and it's a perfect 20 min length for family night. There were a few funny little questions/comments that came with our viewing.
Comment one came from Marcus.
Said while Mr. Kruegar was putting a Christmas record on the record machine. "That's a really big dvd."
Comment two came from me when we noticed that the editors missed a spot in the whole editing process. When Mr. Krueger is placing Clarissa's gloves on his tree, if you look in the top right corner, you'll see a man standing there with his arms folded. After seeing this, I whispered to Tim, "Hey, there's a man there." So when the movie was over we went back to that part and Tim and I shouted, "You are not alone! Turn around! Mr. Krueger, there is a man in your apartment!" and then we laughed and laughed while our children looked at us like we were crazy.
Comment three came from Owen.
This one was said during the scene where Mr. Krueger is imagining himself at the nativity talking to the Christ child. "Why is baby Jesus in a nest?"
I love family night.

I will have to watch Mr Krueger's Christmas again. At least you know your boys were paying attention to the movie :)
