10 months
My sweet boy is getting closer and closer to his first birthday. I didn't realize how much he'd grown until just today when I was looking at some old baby pictures. He's growing into himself and no longer looks like he has a huge head or giant cheeks. His eyes still look ginormous, though. This was the month when Zachy stopped nursing--that was the big milestone, but here are some other things I'd like to remember:
Likes
mandarin oranges
daddy
playing with his brothers
being tickled
being snuggled
hugs
rolling all around (he still isn't crawling, but he manages to get around by rolling)
playing with toys
Lucy cat
mommy
sitting in the grocery cart (no more baby bjorn when we're shopping--he can sit in the cart like a big boy!)
naps and sleeping through the night (this is the charmed time of babyhood when my babies take a morning and afternoon nap and sleep through the night-- lasts from about 7-12 months old--glorious!)
baths
Dislikes
bottles
sippies
formula
food mixed with formula
We all dislike the cost of formula :( I'm thinking I may start switching him over to milk at 11 months. We haven't had any problems with allergies with any of our boys and I planned to do it at 12 months, anyway. I'll research it a bit more, but that's what I'm leaning towards doing.
He is just so fun right now! I love his little personality and how it just shines more and more each day. I love how much I enjoy him and how much the other members of our family enjoy him. After twins, he just seems so easy! He is such a pleasure to have in our home. This is a wonderful age.
