Apple Pie

My titles haven't been very creative lately--sorry. At least you know what to expect. My latest endeavor as the Laurel advisor in my ward was to get my friend (who makes amazing apple pies) to teach us her secret domestic art. My mom can attest to the fact that I struggle with pie crusts and so this activity was also a bit self-serving. Whatever. The girls still had a great time and we got to come home with our own cute little personal pies (I think that would be a nice gift for someone--a pie in a little pie tin). Also, have any of you ever had shredded apple pie? I recommend it. Yummy.

Are you going to share the secret with us? It looks so good. Too bad we aren't neighbors anymore or I'd come over and steal some.

I love how you call it a "secret domestic art," that cracks me up. I can just hear you saying that! That pie does look delicious, and I'm sure it tastes just as good as it looks. I've never shredded apples like that though, maybe I will try that next time I make an apple pie (which happens so often, you know).

Looks very yummy. I've never shredded apples for an apple pie. I might have to try it. I usually cheat on my pie crust, though, store bought makes it easy. ;0)

Looks way yummy! I need to learn this art of pie making. I just run to Marie Calander's and call it good!

You are getting very domesticated! and I love it because I am not so much any more (not that I was really that much before-just ask Tim). Yummmmmmy!
