I've really missed being able to go to the mountains this time of year, so last Thursday we drove 45 min to some Idaho mountains. We visited a little place called Idaho City that was once a booming mining town. The drive was really pretty and the first thing Tim said when we got out of the car was, "It is really quiet up here." It was a fun family day trip, and it satisfied my craving for fall mountain air.
